Mother’s Day Savory Rosemary Bread Pudding Recipe

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 5 cups cubed brioche bread
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère and white cheddar mix cheese
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste



  1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onion and rosemary until onion is soft.
  3. Toss cubed bread with olive oil, onion, and rosemary and place in a well-oiled 9-inch pan.
  4. Beat together eggs, heavy cream, and half cup of cheese.
  5. Pour egg and cream mixture over cubed bread.
  6. Top bread pudding with remaining cheese.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.
